Reducing Pet Overpopulation in NE Kansas

FlinthillsFix Make-A-Difference Memorials. A Living Legacy to honor the Memories of our Pets Who have Gone On Before Us.

Honoring the memories of our beloved pets by donating monthly or yearly to the Paws to Love Prevent-A-Litter program to reduce the numbers of pets that will become homeless every year. Sincere thanks to those who shared their homes and hearts with the following pets.  Thanks to these memorial gifts, literally thousands of litters have been prevented.

Abby Eichem
Born 10/10/95 died 12/19/09
Our sweet Abby left us today to join her sister Maggie in Heaven.  Abby was our dignified girl with such a gentle soul, she loved children of all sizes so kisses were the name of the game whenever she got the chance.
Abby girl we will miss that sweet doggie smile you had as well as the slow wag of your tail whenever you saw us coming.  We will see you again sweet girl until then we will carry you in our hearts forever.

Baby Schroder
My precious Baby went to Rainbow Bridge this morning surrounded by so much love.  My dear friend Lea Ann brought her to me 15 months ago when Baby was already 15 years old!  She won our hearts immediately.  With 5 other pets in the house, she's the only one who had her own room and her own blanket!   When I would wash her blanket, she would get an attitude and just sit and wait until I brought it back still warm from the dryer.  Tom was trying to find her a pink doggie bed and he searched for days.  He finally made a kid go to the backroom and look around and lo and behold, he found one.  Baby liked it for about 2 weeks but then it was a lot of struggle for her to get into it and rest comfortably so it was back to the blanket.  Baby's breathing became more difficult so the past few weeks we have had to carry her outside and up the stairs.  She never lost her appetite and could have done a commercial for Science Diet Small Bites...We will always love her and thank Paws to Love for letting her share part of her life.

Bo Winter 2001-2008

Bo you were amazing because of your intuition. You left me too soon. You are my heartdog and soulmate. I still feel your presence. Bo your nose prints are still on the window...I can't bare to wash them off. (Before Bo left this realm, we were enveloped in an amber light. This signifies the spiritual bond between animal & human.) I miss you & I will always miss you...Mom

Maggie Eichem

We had Maggie in our life for 13 1/2 years, she was the Queen of our pack as well as our clown.  Whenever we were having a bad day, 5 minutes with Maggie and we would be smiling at some silly thing she was doing.  Maggie leaves behind her mom and dad, her sister Abby, pack members Shiloh, Samson, Ruby, Shae, Robbie as well as kitty buddies Spook, Caesar, Annie, Isaiah and Purshia.

She is greatly missed yet we know we will see her again.  In honor of Maggie we ask each of you to give a little extra love to all of your fur babies tonight and every night they are with you.
