Reducing Pet Overpopulation in NE Kansas
Are your Critters havin' litters?
Then you have come to the
right place!
Paws to Love Animal Rescue, Inc.
Paws to Love Animal Rescue, Inc. is a grassroots alliance of people who care about animals, working together to make their lives safer, healthier and happier. We invite you to join our efforts here in north east Kansas and beyond. We are a 501(c)3 Public Charity. We welcome folks from the flinthills region of Kansas to join our volunteer efforts in reducing the numbers of homeless companion animals that are needlessly euthanized every year in our state by encouraging pet owners to spay/neuter their pets and to adopt for life.
Paws to Love Animal Rescue, Inc. is foster-home based and we maintain a no-kill philosophy. We take in owner-relinquished pets and rehome them. Most of the pets we take in require spay/neuter at the minimum - many have not had adequate vet care over their lives and require additional treatment, such as heartworm positive animals who come into our program. To view our current adoptable pets, you can visit our petfinder page HERE.
We also raise funds to subsidize the costs of spay/neuter services for residents in and around Pottawatomie and Wabaunsee Counties, with priority given to Pottawatomie and Wabaunsee Counties. Our Prevent-A-Litter program is designed to provide more affordable services to those with financial need and those who are caretakers of feral cat colonies.
For more information about any of our programs call or email us at:
-
Pottawatomie County residents please call Lea Ann Eichem at 785-456-3324 or email.
-
Wabaunsee County residents, and those our outside of our two counties please call Aleah Mahan at 785-844-3021 or email.
Please note, we are an all-volunteer organization. Our volunteers all work full-time jobs in addition to volunteering for Paws to Love, so if you call us during the weekday, please leave a message and we will return your call within48 hours.
